Cooking 103

Today, Mary Lou, showed us how to make...

Gnocchi 
(with a traditional tomato sauce)

Gnocchi is essentially a soft potato dumpling... and is very popular in Italy!


Ingredients: Gnocchi, tomatoes, onions, cheese
Gnocchi!
Oh, hey Britt!
Mary Lou cooked the sauce (tomatoes & onions) before putting
in the gnocchi.... because it only takes 2-3 minutes!
The gnocchi will rise to the top of the water when it is ready!
Add the gnocchi to the sauce...
....and add lots of parmigiano!!! Mix it all together and you're done!
Very easy!

Now that we are full we have one more class to attend for the day [Italian]. Afterward I will be taking the train [first time by myself] to Rome to meet up with my mom, Emily, and Mrs. Dalziel for dinner! Can't wait to hear about what they did today :)
